Shop ’til you drop dead.

So, camping is off. Sarah was a bit disappointed at first, but I managed to convince her that what would make for a truly awesome holiday was not sleeping in the woods with giant moose, but pissing our pants in excitement on loads of thrill rides at Worlds of Fun! We’ll be leaving this afternoon to travel to the big FC, where we’ll spend the evening eating my Gran’s greasy, yet magically delicious, fried chicken and mashed taters, and then we’ll awake bright and early to make our way to KC, where we’ll ride a hundred million rollercoasters and puke our guts out!! Exciting, eh?!

Yesterday we spent much of the afternoon shopping in Omaha. This was supposed to be a “cheap alternative” to travelling to Chicago, but I believe we underestimated our affinity for new clothes. I ended up spending… well, more than I really should have, but I bought some pretty rad shirts and a pair of jeans and some new Chucks, so I think I’m set for at least a couple months. I hope so, because I realized yesterday that shopping is incredibly tiring, and I’m just too lazy to do it all that often.

Must go pack now, as the first home football game of the season is this afternoon. Best to get out of Lincoln before all the crazies come out.
