Omaha, NE - Ranch Bowl Jen - 09.09.99 Another day, another J's concert. This is the second one for us this week. Still not fully recovered from Tuesday night's concert, we drove to Omaha to watch the 2 Skinnee J's in action once again. We were one of the first people in line so we got right up front for the show. There's nothing like being up in the front! The show was amazing! They played the same set as Tuesday night, but that's okay. Every J's concert just gets better and better. Stevie Spice was a little under the weather, so he wasn't his usual self... :o( Let's see, what do we have for highlights?... Action came out to play a song with The Hairy Apes (one of the opening bands), and the crowd went nuts! During BBQ I had my 5 seconds of fame - Noah gave me the mic to sing "Onion dip." Then he gave it to a friend on my right, but since it was her first show she didn't know the words (and she let Noah know that - she said it out loud into the mic). Noah just started laughing at her. Before the show, I had made friends with one of the security guards, and he snagged me one of the set lists (Angie got hers on Tuesday night). After the show we mingled with the guys... while we were talking to Andy, Ennis (a videographer who is shooting footage for a documentary that's gonna be released when the new album comes out) came over and asked us if he could ask us a few questions for the tour documentary. He asked us all kinds of questions about the band. He started saying someting about Eddie not getting as much attention as the rest of the band, and I mentioned that Eddie was awesome. Eddie was standing right behind Ennis and asked him if he paid us to say that. I said "No, I love Eddie!" He turned around and asked who said that, and when I told him it was me he said, "Come here girl, give me a hug!" He's such as sweetheart! I soaked up this night as much as I could. It'll be at least 6 months before we see them again. I am going to be so deprived, but that will make their next show that much more worthwhile. Till then... <====
