Omaha, NE - Ranch Bowl Jen - 11.12.00 Alright it's been almost 2 months since the show, so I guess it's about time I write my review. I missed the Saturday show due to being at a Husker football game at K-State (if I would have known we were going to loose I wouldn't have gone). Sorry, no review on that one. The wait on Sunday was cold, but while trying to keep all appendages from freezing, the Winny pulled up. Lance came over and talked to us for a little while. That was cool, I hadn't talked to him since the last time I saw them. Okay I really don't remember that much before the show, so it must not have been too important. So onward... Well what can I say, it rocked (as if I had any doubts). It had been a year since I saw the J's. And let me just say... the wait sucked!!!! But... it made the show all the more fun. Angie and I were up in front (again). (They should just reserve those spots for us 'cuz were going to be front and center everytime.) Let's see... Clever opened the show. They were pretty good. I used to hate them, but I'm slowly turning around. Hairy Apes were next. I love these guys. They definitely have their own style. Then it was time for the one and only 2 Skinnee J's. They totally kicked ass!!! I was hit by one awesome song after another. They played a lot of their new stuff. By the way, I can't wait for the CD. (A little side note to Capricorn-get your shit together. We, the loyal J's soldiers, need some Volumizer.) I can't wait for the next show. A little bird told me it would be in Feb. or March. Anyway... on a wait once again. <====
