April 3, 1999 Soldiers - a few things here to put some final touches on mailing list quality, some tour dates after a few changes, a nice picture of none other then Andy Action for all to download, and a small bit of other Skinnee business. On a lighter note just so it is not overlooked, a happy Easter is wished to the whole Skinnee Army. By now, it has been identified that a problem has happened by sending unwanted mail to the list. The exact reason for that happening is still unknown. By no means will it happen again, and sincere apologies for the unwanted mail. When email is sent to the list itself, it is caught by a screen to protect the mailing list community from receiving it. Whether is was a software failure, or all controls were not set correctly, reassured everything is fixed now, and the only mail that will be received by the Skinnee Community will be Official Business. The attachment to this newsletter is a tremendous picture of Andy Action. It was shot by VinnerRox@aol.com and sent to me light years ago. It is one of my favorites, and yes - it is a black and white photo, your monitor is not playing tricks on you. This photo was taken October 3rd, 1998 at the Meadows in Hartford for the Radio 104 Big Day Off. A call of champions here, if you have photos of the band in action, logos, or something you feel like sharing, feel free to email it to FamousRT@aol.com, it just may be the next attachment. There has been a bit of confusion about the attachment/non-attachments newsletter. This newsletter that is sent out weekly or every other comes with 1 Skinnee something attached. If you do not want to receive the attachment, there is another version of the list. This version is the exact same email sendout word for word, but no file or picture will come with it. If you would like to be part of the list, but not receive extra files, again email FamousRT@aol.com and that will be taken care of. TOUR DATES

unless noted: A LOYALTY TEST (a reiteration of a past Stumpy Speech) Speaking of champions, all of you can cement your places in my vaunted "Hall of Champions" by taking a simple 2 part loyalty test. The first and most important short-term effort is for you to call you local radio station and request "Riot Nrrrd" by 2 Skinnee J's. Many of you may recall that "Riot Nrrrd" was the first single released by the J's, but I have decided to re-release it for one very good reason -- money. The truth is that I'm not ready to give up on this album without trying everything in my power to milk every cent out of it. And you, the fans of the band, can really help me out on this one. Believe it or not, radio stations sometimes listen to the people who call in and ask for songs to be played. Those requests combined with the inordinate amount of money that I have paid them should seal the deal. Stations in St. Louis (the point), Chicago (q101), Seattle, Atlanta (99X), Long Island (wlir), Washington, DC (whfs) have already added the song to their rotation and it is important that they get positive feedback (genuine or not). Indeed, the song is already one of the top ten most requested songs both in Wilmington, NC and Chicago. All the fans in those areas will be receiving their rewards soon. If you need a list of stations and phone numbers, email FamousRT@aol.com to receive a complete listing. Secondly, please come to see the J's when they play anywhere within 200 miles of your home. (Please note the list of tour dates above) What this does is pad attendance at shows so that newcomers can be fooled into thinking that the J's are a legitimate band and will subsequently buy the album. If all of you help me to reach these lofty goals I can promise you the greatest of rewards: satisfaction in a job well-done and a 10% discount on tickets to the "My Stumpy, My Self" personal improvement seminar. So, the rest is up to you... until next time I am always and forever, $tumpy ANOTHER CALL OF CHAMPIONS Great response was received from the Skinnee Army when you were asked to step up your game. Again, if you can help on this one, email your reviews to Jsplit@Jsplit.com Your job is to be a concert review writer for a day. Look back on a or some 2 Skinnee J’s concerts you have been to, pretend you are a critic writing to the Music Awards about why or what the J’s are, how their performance was, what made you laugh, cry, see them again. What is being sought after is a synopsis of the show, unique songs or silly statements the J’s made. Its great to review "He’s so Hot", or "it was the bestest show ever", but take this as a task, a job, write up a term paper. Being built is a 2 Skinnee J’s Concert Review page by the fans for the fans, the more detailed the better.
